P6 Book List for the SEAG GL Transfer Test

Reading list for SEAG GL Transfer Test

Where can I find a book list for the SEAG GL Transfer Test? This is a common question we get asked all the time in our tuition centre. It is important that you get your child reading if they are going to succeed in Transfer Test English! Unfortunately GL Assessment who write the tests like to use long passages from what might be called classic novels. They are often not the sort of books it is easy to persuade your child to read.

I have put together a list of books that will be helpful. This does not mean that your child has to read all of these books, but it will give you somewhere to start.

Older Classic Novels

You might find some children are reluctant to read these. The language used will be harder for them to grasp and they may not relate as well to some of the story lines. However, these are just the sort of texts that tend to come up in the AQE and GL tests. If you can get them reading any of these, you will be winning!
