Inspired by the question types and skills in the official practice papers drawn from the 2025 SEAG tests, these papers provide fresh questions and new comprehension passages in a familiar format. They are useful for children who have already completed the official examples and would benefit from further practice.

Each paper includes:

• A practice section to complete before starting the main test.
• 56 questions: 28 English and 28 maths.
• A reading comprehension passage, alongside spelling, punctuation and grammar questions.
• A range of maths questions, including diagrams, charts and problems.
• A separate pupil answer sheet.
• An answer booklet with clear explanations to help parents work through corrections.

Allow 60 minutes for each main paper, with additional time for the practice section. You can also work through smaller sections to focus on particular skills before attempting a full timed paper.

Designed for children working at Level 3, the bundle offers a mix of straightforward questions and more demanding problems. Use the explanations afterwards to explore mistakes and identify topics that need a little more revision.

Quick Knowledge Checks

Short activities revisit essential facts, concepts and key knowledge.

These quick checks help pupils identify areas that may need more revision. They also encourage fast and confident recall.

Tricky SEAG-Style Questions

Some questions can catch pupils out even when they understand the topic.

Therefore, the SEAG Final Countdown includes plenty of practice with these trickier question types. Pupils are encouraged to read carefully, think logically and avoid common mistakes.

The final weeks shouldn’t be about cramming as much work as possible into each day.

Instead, The SEAG Final Countdown provides focused revision and purposeful practice. It also gives pupils regular opportunities to check their progress.

First, pupils revisit important knowledge and skills. Next, they practise applying them to different questions. Finally, the Finisher Practice Papers allow them to put everything together.

Our SEAG Transfer Test Mock is for both current On Target Tuition students and non On Target students.

In order to help combat nerves,  On Target Tuition are offering parents a mock Transfer Test on Saturday 3rd October, Saturday 10th October and 24th October 2026.

We will provide:

• An unseen specially written paper which will test your child’s ability in the Transfer Test curriculum.  This paper has been updated to reflect the SEAG GL Specifications.
• Detailed feedback on their performance.  This includes a list of topics that your child needs to practise before sitting the real test.
• The feedback given will be detailed and emailed to you within 3 working days. It will allow you to see clearly which questions and topics need revision.  We will suggest any techniques that may help and highlight any bad habits. The feedback will include the questions from the test for your information.  The test paper will be posted to you, so you can go over any mistakes with your child.
• We will recreate the feel of the actual test.  This will give your child a realistic idea of what it will be like including getting them used to listening and carrying out the instructions of the invigilator.

We hope that the experience will put them at ease and mean that they approach the Transfer Tests confident and relaxed.

SEAG Style Level 1 and Level 2 Practice Papers

On Target SEAG Style Level 1 and Level 2 Practice Papers are based on the the SEAG GL format and are written by On Target Resources. The format is a mixture of multiple choice and free response answers.

Level 1 is the easiest of our staged difficulty levels.  These papers will allow you to introduce your child gradually to the SEAG curriculum and format.  Level 1 contains reduced content and timings compared to Level 2 and Level 3 papers.
