Every Transfer Test paper has what we call A* questions.  This resource is designed to help your child build their confidence with A* questions.    The more practise you get of these questions the more chance you have of scoring highly in the SEAG tests.  Transfer Test Tricky Maths will allow you and your child to practise these difficult maths questions and get the practice you need to get top marks in the test.

We have created 4 booklets that cover all areas of the Transfer Test maths curriculum.  We have researched the most difficult questions using past papers.  Also included is a detailed guide to working out the answers.  This provides parents with a step by step guide for working out the answer to each question.  If your child gets the answer wrong you can go through the problem together to work out the solution.

10 Transfer Test Maths skills a day for 30 days.

This booklet is designed to help you revise the key Transfer Test Maths skills required for the AQE and GL Transfer Tests.  Children can complete 10 questions every day for 30 days.  Repetition of these facts and questions will get them used to the Maths content of the tests, allow you to see any gaps in their knowledge and cement the facts in their heads.

** Please note – our practice papers have been updated to the 2022 specification.  The revision books have not been edited to the 2022 spec due to the differing specifications of both the AQE and GL tests. We have not removed any maths topics from the revision books.

This booklet can be used in Primary 6 to help learn the English skills.  It can also be used by Primary 7s in the run up to the test to consolidate the facts.
